Carmen Baltensperger studied law at the Universities of Fribourg, Basel and Bologna (2011 to 2017). She gained professional legal experience in the Canton of Bern at the Cantonal Public Prosecutor’s Office for White Collar Crime, at a district administration office as well as at a law firm focusing on labour, family and criminal law (2017-2019).
After obtaining the bar in February 2020, she worked for a regional public prosecutor’s office in Bern as well as for an internationally oriented law firm in St. Gallen. Since 1 October 2021, she has been working as an independent lawyer at Forum Rechtsanwälte in an advisory and litigation capacity.
Carmen Baltensperger’s practice focuses on all areas of criminal law and criminal procedure. In addition she is involved in the areas of administrative law, public procedural law and labour law.
She is a member of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Associations, the ZAV specialist groups for criminal defence and labour law, the association Pikett Strafverteidigung and the Swiss Criminal Law Society (SKG).
Carmen Baltensperger is registered with the Bar Register of the Canton of Zurich. She advises in German, English, French and Italian.
